The room and bathroom were a good size and the bay being the first thing you see out of the main door was great. Most of all, the owner and staff were really kind: they came to pick us up at the harbour (despite us only contacting them last minute), helped us rent a moped and were very patient when it came to find a way to pay. The information says they take cash or bank wire, but the ATM on the island was not working and the bank wire only really works if you have a Taiwanese bank account. They let us check in no problem while we figured something out (thankfully a Taiwanese friend of ours came to the rescue, but we STRONGLY recommend you have all the cash you're going to need for your stay before you get to the island).

Staff was very friendly and helpful, provided extra survice to help us with our luggage. Bed was comfy, the individual cells felt very spacious and well equipped. The curtain provided privacy. Location was good. Communication with the staff through internet was easy, they were very responsive.

    Location, location and location! Window with light into the room is great and we really enjoyed the balcony that look towards the sea. We were reluctant at first with the mixed reviews but gladly our choice to stay here. The boss also helped us to solve our cash issue when the island atm not accepting our card. Really enjoyed our Lanyu trip.

    For this hostel, The reason why it got full mark was because it met the requirements as the Bunk bed stay-in condition. Not because it's very fancy or some sort of special service. The location close to the ship harbor And in the evening, downstairs got Street food to purchase (Landlord cousin). They have collaboration with the rental of motorcycle and diving service. If you request, they will provide the service.

    We had a great stay at A-Lang Homestay! The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, they picked us up from the ferry, drove us to rent a scooter, and let us store our luggage after check-out. The location is very convenient too. The shower had warm water and great water pressure, towels were included. Would definitely stay here again!

    In the beautiful Lanyu Island, we enjoyed our stay very much. The room and common area were clean and with all the amenities. The lady who ran the house was extremely helpful. She did everything to make our stay unforgettable. She picked us up from the port, she helped us rent a scooter, she gave us all the information needed to get around the island. She helped us get back to the port carrying on her scooter one of our backpacks, too. Thank you!

    best place to stay if you don’t really plan in advance. next to the ferry 7-11 proximity is not Al issue at least when you stay on 3 rd floor

    Staff was super friendly and even spoke English! They helped us with all our travelling needs and also suggested some places to stay on the island. The homestay also has a rooftop which is lit up at night so you may enjoy a couple drinks there with your friends. It is perfectly located next to one of the only 2 7-Elevens on the island and also the ferry terminal. If I ever visit Lanyu again, DoDoWu Homestay will be my first choice!
