I really enjoyed the ease of the check-in process as well as the self-serve coffee and what seemed to be homemade muffins. The accommodations felt communal yet private. From period-appropriate furniture to signage for the historical elements, the house was a unique stay that couldn't have existed anywhere else. The owners of AWOL were very friendly and even helped with my weird request to borrow their microwave for putting on vampire fangs!
