Everything was perfect! Beautiful cottages, in the middle of the nature, perfect location (rent a car is the best option) Amazing and local products, a lot of variety of tasty food and great wine tastings The farm is just amazing and with a lot of activities.

The grounds were magnificent and the room was gorgeous. It really exceeded my expectation! It felt very luxurious. The room came with a Nespresso machine, many pods for it, tea, rusks and other treats. I have stayed at more expensive places that didn't feel nearly as luxurious! Thank you

It was very nice to stay at the wine farm, peaceful and calm. Self check in was easy.Rooms are cozy for 4 people. Staff delivered breakfast material in the morning, we were able to cook by self. We had really good rest after long hours driving. And started the next day with morning walk in the farm, can't be more relaxing. Just 10 mins driving to the town center. Highly recommend.

    I booked this accommodation for a friend for his birthday and when I mentioned this to Maison Montagne, they upgraded his room to a Deluxe King Room overlooking the mountain and the vineyards. He mentioned that we could order room service as well. He woke up to a breakfast spread the next morning and explored the vineyards. He had a wonderful stay and mentioned that the staff was amazing and the small details made the stay memorable like the heated towel rack. This is definitely a hidden gem and value for money!

    It was easy to locate. Upon arrival, the security showed us to our parking. By only referencing my name, the security immediately knew what booking we had and made the check-in process effortless. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely make use of them again if I need accommodation in that area.

    The self-catering houses were absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Secure parking which was nice as well. The accommodation was very walkable from the town centre so that was a bonus as well as the weather was stunning the weekend we stayed there.

    We absolutely loved the stay, so peaceful, tranquil and cosy. The views are incredible of the rolling mountains and the nature reserve. In the future I would to book the entire place to do a family vacation. Centrally located, safe and comfortable - Marlicia was wonderful! We couldn’t as for more!

    It is a fabulous boutique hotel. Declan and the team went beyond expectations, making sure everything was on hand with fantastic attention to detail. Breakfast was indeed legendary. We usually stay in different accommodations in Franschhoek, but no longer. We'll be returning to Akademie.
