It features a traditional Austrian restaurant. Check-in was very smooth. All the formalities were already done, and we just had to sign, and that's it. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Minibar was stacked with enough drinks and snacks for everyone. The Märchenwald right behind the hotel was a Hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet set-up was no less than a 5-star hotel. All in all, we loved our stay at Hotel Schwatz.

Extremely well equipped with everything needed (tea, coffee, cleaning products, salt, oil, etc.). Great coffee machine, comfy beds, large TVs. Infra-red sauna and whirlpool bath were great and the children loved the table football. Remote location so you need a car. It's a 10 min drive from Semmering for skiing (20 mins for Stuhleck). We'd happily come back and will look to try it in the summer months next time.
