Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. We loved our stay,but unfortunately we'd only booked our room for 1 night,and the room that was offered for a 2nd night wasn't suitable for me as I have a disability.

Big bonus for the cleanliness—everything stays super clean throughout the day.

The apartment features a spa experience, with its hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. The apartment offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The personal touches upon our arrival were very warm and welcoming. The rooms were well decorated and extremely com. Everything was just a short stroll away. I would strongly recommend this accommodation and look forward to visiting again in the future.

The apartment was a great size — spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The central location made it super convenient to walk to everything, from cafes and restaurants to the waterfront. The facilities were excellent, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Airlie Beach!
