These guys are the most hospitable folks you'll ever meet. I can't wait to be back there again, again and again. Kudos to the entire team - you guys are the best!

Playa Blanca is 300 metres from the accommodation. Rafael Núñez International Airport is 36 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Everything was perfect. Staff was incredible kind, they upgraded my room and served my breakfast with my fruit of choice. The location couldn´t be better as it is far from the noise and boats of Playa Blanca. I suggest to ask for rooms at the second floor. The sunset view from the terrace was amazing. I would definitely com back.

Staff were fantastic and very attentive / helpful and sympathetic. The place itself is just wonderful: Nice design, super clean, very private, especially once the day guests are gone. Food is also very good.

Hotel Carey Beach Baru features a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Baru. Providing a bar, the property is located within 2.4 km of Isla del Encanto Beach. The accommodation provides room service and free WiFi. The location was fantastic- beautiful white sandy beach, ocean view from bedroom window. We especially liked that there was NO music playing or smoking allowed on the property - just the sound of the birds and the waves. Good choice for breakfast and all other food from the menu for lunch, snacks and dinner (large portions). Beach bar always open to buy drinks and cocktails. Beach was cleaned and raked every morning and there were plenty of sun beds and chairs plus umbrellas and trees for shade. The staff were friendly and helpful ( also patient with us as we have zero Spanish!!!). We recommend using their suggested transport options from Cartagena - Nando (taxi) and Christian (boat). We were able to rent a boat for a couple of hours to go snorkelling and touring the islands. N.B. There are fish and a sunken plane to see when snorkelling but sadly all the coral has died. Carey Beach was the nicest sandy beach BY FAR that we saw and there were spectacular sunsets every night!

The location is great, it’s more quiet and calm. Easy access to boat transfers. The carribean food they make is super delicious. The hosts are happy to help with any questions!
