In my case, a thunderstorm brewed over the night and I was planning to drive to our next location. Leonardo and another staff member looked up some local news to make sure we knew what the safest route was. In regard to the room, they have 2 AC units and loads of space for either couples or small families. The community is secure and feels very cozy. Breakfast is delicious. HIGHLY HIGHLY regard others to stay here.

Breakfast was great and loved when the fed the birds in the morning. It was a meal with a show. So many amazing colorful birds. The location is great. It's an easy walk into town, but far enough from the center that it's not too loud. Our rooms were comfortable. They aren't super modern, but were good. The pool was very refreshing and generally we didn't have difficulty finding a place to relax by the pool. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We were very lucky that 3 of the 4 days we were there, we could see the arenal volcano. The first day it was completely covered with clouds, but it eventually came out! Great view from the pool

Local restaurants and shops can be found within a 2-minute walk. The La Fortuna Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away, while Juan Santamaría International Airport is a 2-hour drive away. Free parking is provided at the hotel. Access to the hot springs was a very nice bonus

The proximity to town meant you had cafes and restos on your doorstep and no need for car. The pool/games room was great entertainment for kids during down time.

Beautiful lodge with amazing views of the Volcano and lake. Lots of hiking trails and birds. Rooms were good and the resort is well maintained.
