Once inside the boutique hotel, we entered a warm haven of a gold and brown coloured interior, and were heartily welcomed by the lady at the reception. She offered us a coffee, while she finished cleaning our room, as to allow us an early check-in. The hotel manager helped us with bringing up the luggage to our room. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and with all comfort to feel “home away from home”. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of homemade goodies. We will definitely be back! Absolutely superb breakfast service (11/10)! Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).
