The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip. Breakfast was exceptional, amazingly wonderful and so very delicious. We talked about this hotel every day on our Christmas Market Trip. I'd like to go back to Erfurt just to stay here! And yes, the staff were so friendly and helpful. If you're nervous about not staying at a chain or trying something new...take a chance, you'll be glad you did!

Absolutely superb breakfast service (11/10)! Newly renovated from the ground up. WiFi works fine. Supermarket just across the street. Perfect location for a lot of hiking. Easily reachable by car as well as public transport. Despite this being an active railway station, the trains didn't bother me sound wise. With the windows closed, sound isolation was extremely good, and even sleeping with the window open was OK (I will add that my room was on the street side of the building, however).
