They let us leave out stuff there after the check out. They even had tea, snacks and fresh fruit from their trees for anyone to take, and pads in the public toilet! Would definitely recommend.

The staff are friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, with great views, the food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent and a garage to park the bike was great. It was a perfect location to explore the area with many of the must do sights and roads within easy reach. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our next visit!

So...when you are doing the Camino Primitivo, you are staying at albergues or hostels, very often in shared rooms. The Hotel Palacio de Meras is a four star hotel and only about €8 p/p more than a hostel if you are staying in a double room. We literally thought we were in the wrong place when we arrived. It felt so luxurious!!! The rooms are large and have all the perks of an expensive hotel - great quality soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, a two-sided adjustable make-up mirror, a hair dryer...a mini-fridge... It has a formal dining room, a bar and tables out in the plaza. The portions were insanely big and delicious. And the location is great. A block away from a supermarket, half a block from a pharmacy, and close to other key businesses like cafes, bakeries, and bars.
