Marco met us when we arrived and he made us feel very welcome. It is a very modern and comfortable apartment. It is up a few flight of steps direct from the port which leads to a magnificent view of the harbour from the apartments balcony. There are many restaurants nearby and it is an ideal central location.

This recently renovated apartment is located less than 1 km from Franciscan Monastery Beach and a 6-minute walk from Harbour of Hvar. The apartment features family rooms. Villa Porta Maestra was the best apartment we have ever rented. It was lovely. The sofa and chairs were beautiful and very comfortable as were the beds. We were very appreciative of the Nespresso coffee machine (our favorites at each of our homes). We didn't cook, but bought Croatian cheeses and meats for a few dinners. The views from the windows were breathtaking. No matter which window we looked from had a perfect view. Stefani went out of her way to help us get our bags up to the apartment and went with my husband to park the car, as the apartment was in a car free area. She also insisted that she help us with our bags on our return to the car. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Porta Maestra. Hvar is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our walks and very good restaurants.

Oh also they were partners with this other hotel and you could use the pool which honestly i wasn't planning on using since the beaches are dreamy but we also checked it out and it was perfect as well!
