Mr. Kaesa was extremely helpful — he was waiting for us upon arrival and provided us with the most detailed information about Berastagi and the trek to Gunung Sibayak. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was available. As a bonus, the price was extremely low — almost ridiculously cheap considering everything that was included. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Berastagi.

Set 10 km from Siti Nurbaya Bridge and 47 km from Mount Talang, Mila Homestay features accommodation situated in Padang. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The room as well as the bathroom is modern and clean and the owner Dilla is such a nice and talkative person. She really cares about her guests and helps with all she can. She even woke up at 4 am to drive us to the airport. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)
