The food was perfect, compliments to the chef. The service staff were very friendly and courteous. Anke was particularly special, she was our waitress on three evenings. She was courteous, funny, friendly and has an incredibly positive charisma. A soul of the house and, from an entrepreneur's point of view, a perfect employee.

Dating back to 1900, the modern Kvosin Downtown Hotel offers rooms with a seating area, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Most rooms have a kitchenette with a dining area, fridge and cooking hobs. This was hands down one of the best properties we ever stayed at. Checked all of our boxes and more. They even helped us get a dinner reservation at one of the best spots in town. Amenities and service were above and beyond. I usually never leave reviews but felt compelled on this one as we were so happy!!!

Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel provides soundproofed accommodation just around the corner from the city’s main street, Laugarvegur. All options include tea/coffee makers and microwaves. Communal laundry facilities are also available. EVERYTHING! The property is true to picture, very comfortable and sweet and close to all the sightseeing! The staff left us some snacks and drinks which was highly appreciated. We haven’t had any problem trying to find parking spot, as there were around the street (do not forget to pay for parking) Highly recommended!

Comfortable Accommodations: Rooms feature air-conditioning, bathrobes, and carpeted floors. Each room includes a private entrance and shared bathroom. Everything’s is perfect! You need to know where you are going to, is a hostel, shared bathrooms and only a bed. Not much space for moving around in the hub. But if you are aware of this, you have to know this place is excellent! Bed is super comfortable and big! Extremely clean and nice sheets. Bathrooms are big, clean, spacious, there is never waiting for a shower. Everything is very modern. The staff is extremely friendly. The lobby is also great! There a self service bar where you can even bring your own food and drinks and eat there. I would definitely return!

Popular points of interest nearby include Reykjavik Art Museum: Kjarvalsstadir, Laugavegur Shopping Street and Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Very nice place, comfortable bed, private curtain, beautiful bar and kitchen, beautiful bathrooms. Very safe. I fully recomand!

Nothing was too much trouble thanks to the advance contact and detailed directions. We stayed elsewhere during our stay in Iceland, but we should have stayed here forever. Would love to come back.

It's in a great spot, and the price was pretty good. My favorite was the shower, but the view was pretty great as well
