Everything in the hotel is perfect. The rooms are very clean, as are the bed linen and towels. Breakfast is very varied, always fresh and delicious. It is quiet and we felt like home. The people at the hotel reception are very nice.

Housed in a building dating from 2019, this luxury tent is 6.8 km from the Gullfoss Waterfall. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The yurt was fantastic. It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

Loa's Nest was the perfect way to end our trip in Iceland. Their guesthouse had extremely easy check in. The entire facility was clean and equipped with everything and more. I would highly recommend this guesthouse for all types of travellers.

All guest rooms come with a en suite bathroom with a shower or bath. The rooms at Landhotel are equipped with a seating area. Superb room, luxurious for my wife and I as the room was super spacious. It has everything I need! Breakfast was an added bonus as Booking.com said no meal plan and receptionist said all rooms come with a breakfast. Wife was elated :) For the price compared to other accommodations I had in Iceland, this is super value for money. Pity we didn’t had time to try out the hot tub out in the open! 2 nights is definitely not enough when the F-roads are open for the summer as there are plenty of nearby hikes around the area!

Even though we were four, we were really comfortable there, for two it’s even more spacious. The kitchen is amazing, they provide maximum basic things for your confort like oil, salt etc. Privacy was amazing even though there were so many people in other houses of the accommodation and the views just TOP!!
