And for breakafast I could order truffle omelet and eggs benedict (aomori style maybe due to the apple) and they were great!

Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Nao also helped us with transport by calling a taxi and provided great local recommendations that enriched our experience. The house itself was well-equipped and cozy, offering a perfect retreat after our daily adventures. We especially appreciated how it preserved the traditional Japanese aesthetic while ensuring all the essentials were available.
