The unit was very spacious especially since we are only 3pax but can accomodate up to 6 pax. The unit was equip with the basic needs. The big living room was a very nice touch in which you can lounge. And since the unit is bigger than normal space in Japan, you can freely open your luggage. It was a great stay. Would defenitely recommend.

We walked in without booking but the receptionist was very helpful even with language barrier thanks to google translate. Room was spacious enough, clean and bed was really comfy. There is a morning market next to the hotel where you can buy breakfast and bring back to the hotel and enjoy it at the lounge area with complimentary coffee and tea.

Set in Yanagawa, Fukuoka region, 柳川ゲストハウス 憩 (IKOI) is situated 35 km from Hirayama Hot Spring. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 19 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved every second of our stay at IKOI in Yanagawa. The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

Kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils to prepare dishes.Resort staff was very helpful Best part just 5 min walk from station . View is mesmerising from all the rooms. Just perfect .

It’s very spacious, well decorated, private onsen in the bathroom is amazing. The staff is friendly. We really appreciated the kaiseki dinner. Everything was perfect
