The amenities are the hotel were top notch. The onsen was wonderful and overall the atmosphere was very peaceful. The room was very clean and they provided clothing, tattoo covers (for onsen) and shampoo/conditioner.

We were fortunate enough to get a beautiful view of the pagoda. But even if we weren’t on that side of the building there is still a decent view on the other side. There are kitchens free to use. The sento is very nice and has a little view.

The ryokan has family rooms. Yamato may not be the closest to Osaka, but it is still pretty close to Ikoma station from where you can take the Kintetsu line into the city. The area around the ryokan is amazing, but warning - the stairs going up to it are only easy downwards :D Yamato itself is amazing, it has everything for the traditional ryokan experience - tatami, futon, onsen and yukata. The owner is super nice and she even asked her husband to help me with my big luggages, thank you so much! I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area!
