Everything exceeded our expectations, to be honest. The room was spacious and even it is in a central area, it is very quiet. It is also a short 5-10 min walk to the fort which is the main attraction in the city and just a couple minutes away from the bazaar. The breakfast was outstanding, one of the best we had in our trip in Sri Lanka. And so was the coffee! The staff were very nice and helpful, they went out of their way to help us with an issue we had completely unrelated to our stay there which was greatly appreciated.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. Bernie and Inbika are super friendly, provide a lot of valuable information about Galle. The other people in the hotel are also very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and clean. Highly recommended!

All staff were professional and friendly and went out of their way to provide the best experience ever! We fell in love with the adorable Kiki the local hotel dog. Franzi was incredible and added a personal touch to your stay and always had a smile on her face. I have stayed in many hotels over my years of traveling and this hotel is simply THE BEST!

As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even nicer. Our package came with breakfast and it was delicious, definitely worth it. The pool area was such a cozy, chill spot to hang out and relax. The whole vibe of the place was just immaculate, we honestly had a great time staying here.
