About the room: Attention to Detail: From smooth AC performance to beautifully appointed bathrooms, strong showers, and well-placed plug sockets, everything functioned seamlessly in an environment that looks beautiful yet remains highly practical ( room number 7, I highly recommend). Location: the hotel offers good location to sandy shores. I easily rented a scooter with Enriquo ( the owner, he helped me rent it ) and rode it right to the beach for surfing. ( you can check in how far is it from the beach online ) Public area: One standout feature is the spacious rooftop area—a peaceful, open-design terrace offering panoramic sea views. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, read, or enjoy a meal above the treetops.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, but if we only had more vacation we would have stayed longer 😉 The room was nice, spacious and above all very clean. In addition, we got an upgrade to a room with a balcony which was very nice of the owner. The room had air conditioning and wifi which worked flawlessly. The location is great - 2 minutes from the beach but not on the main street which made the hotel quiet. The owner is very kind and helpful. We can honestly recommend this hotel and the next time we are in Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here.

The hotel has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The whole place is so we'll designed and laid out. Very impressive. Blends nature into the building very well. The staff are fantastic. So friendly. Unfortunately I can't remember the welcoming manager but he was such a nice man. Antony (manager in the restaurant is fantastic and does a great job in looking after you).The lift is a cool little novelty into the hotel. Gave us refreshments on arrival. We stayed here on our last 2 nights of our honeymoon, which the gave us a food platter and 2 free cocktails. Very kind of them. They even gave us a fair well gift. The hotel itself is stunning. Stunning views and facilities. Rooms are very spacious. The monkeys are everywhere so you just need to watch your stuff around the pool but great to watch while floating in the pool. Food is fantastic. I really can't fault this place. We stayed in some great hotels travelling around sri Lanka but coastline Marissa was level above them all. We actually met the hotel co owner who actually took time out to show us a cool boat tour just around the corner and chatted to us about the area and what to do. He is such a nice man and very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here is you had the chance.

The hotel is fantastic, the service outstanding, the food delicious. We had a blast over here.

At the hotel, the rooms have a desk and a balcony with pool view. Featuring a private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries, rooms at The Rainforest Hideaway also feature a mountain view. At the accommodation each room is equipped with a seating area. An amazing little cabin off the side of a beautiful river with waterfall you can swim in. This was the most unique and amazing rustic hideaway we were in. Such a special place! The family was super kind and the meals were plentiful and delicious. As it is isolated, you will probably eat all your meals here, they are good and well priced. Jungle tour recommended by Sahara, was fun and interesting. He was very easy to coordinate with for the pickup/dropoff by 4x4 from the nearest town. This place is so special, I cannot recommend it enough.

The units at the homestay feature private entrance and soundproofing so guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. Every unit comes with a private bathroom, a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while certain rooms are fitted with a balcony and some have garden views. All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. The accomodation and hospitality were absolutely brilliant - originally booked for 2 nights and extended for another. The room was very spacious, AC and a fan. The host invited me for breakfast the first morning and helped with anything I needed organising including washing and getting me a tuk tuk. The family is really so nice. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the lovely beach - surfed loads and was provided a beach towel when I asked!

90 metres from Dickwella Beach, Kaas Villas - Entire Two Bedroom Villa With Private Pool & Garden is a recently renovated property situated in Dickwella and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The villa provides parking on-site, an outdoor swimming pool and a 24-hour front desk. Property was very clean. Staff were very attentive and kind. One of the places I’ve felt the most comfortable staying in Sri Lanka. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting hiriketiya. Property is a few minutes walk from popular restaurants and a 15 min walk from hiriketiya beach making it quiet and peaceful for you to rest. If ever, you can also relax on the lounge chairs and your private pool. Overall, 10/10 and would stay here again.
