We stayed at Mimoza Mirissa during our whale watching trip to Mirissa on B&B basis. Everything about this little hotel is excellent. It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. It also offers water sport facilities and has close proximity to the Galle Fort and Blue Whale watching hubs. The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. Everything especially the staff. Very accommodating and welcoming.

Located in Dickwella, a few steps from Dickwella Beach, Ivory Resort Dikwella provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Located around 6.5 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole, the hotel with free WiFi is also 17 km away from Weherahena Buddhist Temple. Guests can enjoy British and Pizza dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. Fantastic hotel from the moment we checked-in until check-out! Staff really was there to help when needed and swimming pool was amazing! A little bit overvalued in terms of pricing in my opinion for Sri Lanka but overall it was a super nice stay and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from!

Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. The hotel is newly opened, with beautifully renovated rooms. It’s close to Weligama beach for surfing and walking distance from the magnificent jungle beach for swimming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. WiFi is good. Breakfast was delicious. And the two rescued kittens stole my heart.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. Loved our stay so much that we extended it. The location is very good- 1 minute walk to the beach, many food places nearby. The place is very clean as well. They give you beach towels too. And special mention to the hosts, they are all wonderful people. They made us feel at home.

The hotel has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Everything has been amazing we truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The place is beautiful and the service was excellent. Just one thing to keep in mind: the floors can get very slippery when wet, so it’s important to be careful.

The hotel itself is gorgeous. Comfort very high, pool very nice. The chef is great and interacts with the guest as well which we liked. Close to the beach but still on a calmer road.

At the accommodation each room is equipped with a seating area. The owner Sahara was super friendly, good English speaking and helps with absolutely everything! Moreover the location is super unique! The food there is also very delicious.

Every unit comes with a private bathroom, a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while certain rooms are fitted with a balcony and some have garden views. All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. The owners and staff were really nice, very welcoming and helpful.
