Right next to the river, so if you're coming by boat (which i recommend), it's a super short walk to check in. Jason runs a cosy lodge with the best views and tour guides in town. The tours he offers are affordable and the guides are exceptional when it comes to the knowledge about the forest and it's animals. Luckily I did not fall for the expensive tours other companies (e.g. Han travels) offers. Realised I could do trails (1-5) on my own, just with a park permit for RM11👌🏼 I had the best 2 days there and definitely want to go back! Thanks for an amazing stay 🙌🏽

The owner Kak Rose is lovely and helpful. She gave us lifts to the town centre although that is just a short walk away. On one occasion, we were wet from river swimming but she insisted on giving us a lift anyway. It was the small gestures that demonstrated her kindness and care for her guests. I asked her where in the town could I buy keropok lekor and a few hours later, I was presented with a small packet of the keropok - which was totally unexpected and speaks of sincere hospitality. I would highly recommend this Guest House as the people are kind and hospitable.

He was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to assist with any needs. Since the accommodation is a bit further from the center, Luka generously offered chauffeur services, making transportation a breeze. The breakfast was also excellent, rounding out a perfect experience. Overall, an amazing stay!

We arrived in Kuala Tahan when the floods started rising. Our host informed us about the situation beforehand, but we decided to go there anyways. We stayed 2 nights, and he was always helping and informing us about the flood situation which was very helpful for us. Unfortunately we did not see much of the inner jungle of Taman Negara. But if the floods wouldn't had been at this time we would have had a great time at Hana Guesthouse!
