The rooms are modern, totally new and the beds sleep very well. Our host Hommed was very kind and helpfull. He showed around the area and can take you for a hike in de beautiful mountains of Oman. The owner was lovely. Said he'd give us a discount if we contact him directly next time. You actually do get a breathtaking sunset view, sunrise unfortunately is blocked by a mountain on the east side. There was a space heater in every room, bathrooms were clean with really good hot water. The patio is great to sit in the evenings after watching the sunset. It's location is just at the bottom of the hill leading up to the main Jabal Shams area which is great as its not in the way of tourists coming and going.
