The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with new fixtures, an excellent shower, and good lighting. The staff were very kind and helpful. Although we arrived before check-in, we were able to occupy our room early, which was greatly appreciated after a long night on the bus. On our last day, we could leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out. The location is also convenient, close to the city center, with the best restaurants and supermarkets just a 5–10 minute walk away. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We stayed twice! Cosy little hostel and amazing value for money. Pretty basic but for how little you pay, it’s really great. Staff were all lovely and the breakfast was nice. Decent location not far from the centre of town. They let you store luggage, check in early if it’s possible etc. no complaints and would stay again

Our stay at Cordillera was great. The hotel was clean, modern and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was in a nice quiet area so it wasn’t noisy at night. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We chose to do our hike privately and not with a group tour and Edisson (reception staff) helped us organise the private taxi the day before with no issues. We also left very early one morning at 5am for one of our hikes and the hotel organised a packed lunch for us as we were going to miss breakfast. If you are staying in Huarez, i highly recommend this hotel!

They even gave me access to a free room with a shower afther I checked out. The terrace is nice and the location is great too.

The host also got up early to make us breakfast since we were leaving for our trek at 6AM. Location is very close to the collectivo points, making it super convenient for us trekkers. The host was very informational, provided us estimates for collectivo prices, found us a garage to leave our car with a competitive price and good food options. The hosts were also able to communicate in English very well and we had no issues with language. The host was also flexible with our stay, as we had to change around dates and she was able to accommodate on the spot. Good Wi-Fi to remotely work, just needed to switch between the available WiFis but worked well.
