It's a great place to meet people (!!) also the staff is really friendly and always ready to give you recommendations. This place makes you feel like you're a part of a community. :) It is a rather unique hostel and I'd definitely stay there again.

Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. It is located on Terceira Island, with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean Promenade, and offers an outdoor swimming pool. We had a phenomenal experience here! Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet which was included in our stay was amazing! Rooms (and the property as a whole) were really nice, clean and quite large. We had four people and didn't feel cramped at all. Plenty of space for all of our stuff. Good parking outside. Easy walking place to the nearest town and some smaller beaches. Nice pool with chairs, jacuzzi and gym. It was also super close to the airport and since we had to leave quite early to make our flight, this was super helpful.

The hotel’s rooms and suites are all air conditioned and feature a private bathroom, with a hairdryer. Each accommodation includes a flat-screen cable TV, a safety deposit box, telephone and free WiFi. The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

Very clean rooms, and what is very important-no noise from neighnours even tough it was a full house. The breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel’s interior is renovated in Art Deco style, blending in harmoniously with the environment. All rooms are decorated in neutral tones, and have wooden furniture. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The 24 hrs access to the hot spring pools was fantastic. We had the pools to ourselves after 5 pm. We ate sushi one night and it was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. They allowed us to keep our entrance to gardens and hot spring after check out and even gave us a new robe and towels.

Amazing and welcoming staff who offered complimentary welcome drinks, upgraded our room to a room with a private courtyard, allowed late check out and it offered an honesty bar. Miguel was wonderful! Comfortable bed. Actual walk up rate can be $500 a night in high season. More than a place to sleep - a cool welcoming experience.
