Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Sensational views, pool, food and drinks at the rooftop. Extremely professional, responsive, and friendly staff everywhere (reception, bar, restaurant, room and cleaning service).

Among the various facilities are an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, as well as a terrace. Guests can enjoy Portuguese dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. Breakfast was excellent. The location was superb - considering three methods of transportation: by car, by bus and walking. Everything worked fine and the staff was willing to help you with all your questions. There is only few parking spots (15€/day) available at the hotel (located in the neighboring lot) but the staff gave an excellent advice to park your rented vehicle in the public car park (5€/day) just 3 blocks away. The rooftop pool and bar were a nice addition to a top quality experience.

Location was perfect - city center, a lot of restaurants in surroundings, room was clean and silent, staff was very helpfull and friendly.

The facilities were very good, with an indoor and an outdoor pool. The view from the cliffs was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly hotel staff and a good selection of breads, cereals, cooked food, fruit, cheeses and so on.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Perfect location, perfect service, perfect food:) This place was worth every cent (or penny, depends on your currency of choice). I'm so happy I didn't decide to stay in Funchal or any other hotel closer to the airport. This place had a soul.
