Featuring luxurious beachfront accommodation on tranquil Haad Salad Beach, Green Papaya boasts a landscaped pool and tropical gardens. It has a beachfront restaurant, water sports facilities and free Wi-Fi hotspots. This is the loveliest little resort in the best beach in Koh Phangan. Idyllic location, world class snorkeling ten feet in front of the cabins, and a perfect pool area and beach lounging area. It couldn’t have been better. We changed to a different hotel after 3 nights but wished we had stayed at green papaya the whole time! Lots of small kids staying here, which we didn’t mind at all (but would be hard if you didn’t want kids around).

Zama Resort Koh Phangan is located along Haad Chao Phao Beach in Koh Phangan, a 10-minute walk to Secret Beach. Boasting a tropical garden and views of sunset, the resort offers free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. The host was considerate because renovations were going on in the property and allowed us one night to decide if we want to stay. We received a bungalow with the best view possible, and were welcomed with a bit of treats. The rooms are big, everything in the room is simple and feels vintage. But everything was also very comfortable, and we did not experience any worth to remember inconveniences. They made it look easy, but after visiting a few hotels in Thailand I know this is not something to take for granted. The hotel has only a few meters of beach and upon first sight it did not look impressive and even a bit uninviting, but after trying it out and after visiting the near Haad son beach we realized that the hotel’s beach is perfect. Unlike the beaches around, for some reason their beach didn’t have waves. It had clear, calm waters with no sticky sand. Even my husband who doesn’t like to spend time on beaches was thrilled. The breakfast was the best in all the hotels we were in Thailand. They had a choice from a menu and they served a rich and diverse dish (unlike, let’s say, 2 eggs with one sausage). And it was served until 5 pm, so no time pressure. We had a “do not disturb” sign on, but they still left every day a bag with toilet paper and water bottles besides the door. So considerate! Clearly understanding the guest’s needs. The cats were great, we even had 2 cat visitors in our bungalow. Good customer service from the cats lol If we’ll ever be in Koh Phangan again we’ll definitely return. Actually, we want to return just to stay in this hotel again.

Everything. Stunning & unique view at the cave. Best staff ever, banana takes care of everything, including special birthday decorations, cake, breakfast to the room and she also gave us a ride to the viewpoint. Never been to a more lovely place. 100% recommend!

Located in Baan Tai, 500 metres from Baan Tai Beach, BOHO Boutique Bungalows provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Providing a bar, the property is located within 1.5 km of Baan Kai Beach. This pet-friendly resort also has free WiFi. Joom prepared a special birthday surprise for my husband incl. beautiful decoration and birthday cake. The bungalows are small and tastefully fitted. Bed is comfortable and bathroom well done. All features are working smoothly. We enjoyed very much sitting on the small terrace embedded into a beautiful garden. It’s all well done and we love to come back for a longer stay.

Situated in Thongsala, 400 metres from Baan Tai Beach, Sea Escapes Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can make use of a bar. It’s truly amazing! During our three weeks trip we stayed in several places including several 5 star hotels, but this was by far the best experience. We had the little bungalow with direct view of the sea and it was fantastic. Also, the service is really nice and the restaurant as well (very fair prices and free room/beach service). There is also a laundry and scooter rental with fair prices. (60 baht per kg laundry was super convenient) Also, incredible sunsets!

MBAR HOSTEL HAAD RIN has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Haad Rin. Boasting a bar, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 300 metres from Haad Rin Nok Beach, 300 metres from Haad Rin Nai Beach and 600 metres from Leela Beach. The accommodation features nightclub and an ATM. This is my second year coming here. Second time to extend my staying Twice as well. Never feel enough from here! The owner and the team are great, no where else can host you and makes you feel home and a family member as well like here. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, shower heater is working properly, they offer free towel during check-in and one towel on the bed already. Definitely next year will do it for Third. The beds were so comfortable, and the linens were fresh and cozy. What really stood out was the attention to small details. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—always available, super sweet, and ready to help with anything. The common areas were inviting and perfect for meeting other travelers. I can’t recommend this hostel enough for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and warm place to stay!

Located in Wok Tum, 500 metres from Pleayleam Beach, CyKali Garden Bungalows provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Located around 4.6 km from Phaeng Waterfall, the hotel with free WiFi is also 10 km away from Ko Ma. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. I surely enjoyed my 3 week stay in CyKali Garden! The host are very helpful and friendly! Nice bungalows, comfortable big bed and on a good location. Thank you 🙏🏼

With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The property is non-smoking and is situated 6.8 km from Phaeng Waterfall. What’s not to like? The property is beautiful and breathtaking, modern and filled with tons of art. Very warm welcome from the manager who was in constant communication with us prior to our arrival. Complimentary drinks (water, juice etc) available 24/7 self serve. Very quiet resort off the beaten path and steps away from the Phangan Beach Resort where breakfast is served and amazing food/drinks. Right on the water, very nice and quiet.

I stayed in four different hostels in Ko phangan and this was by far the best one. Booked one night and ended up staying for 10 days. There are many toilets and showers and they are ALWAYS clean. Nice common areas to meet people and also quiet areas to just sit. The staff was always available and extremely nice. The location is perfect because it is in a quiet place inside the main area. Comfortable beds with curtains and light. Not a party hostel.
