Hot pot dinner was delicious and definitely worth the money. It was an easy walk to the hikes in the area and to the bus stop for Alishan. An Asian breakfast is available at the bed and breakfast. The place was gorgeous. We added the teahouse on Line and they told us they would pick us up at the bus stop, so we didn't have to walk up the mountain at all. We were allowed to explore the tea plantation by ourselves. In the factory, the owner shared different teas with us and explained a lot about the different kinds, so we were able to ask any questions. Their tea was also provided inside the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic with a gorgeous view in the morning, and afterwards the owner's daughter held a tea ceremony, trying three different kinds of teas. One of the most special experiences we have had our entire trip. The daughter also speaks English quite well. The family's sun was also able to give us and two other guests a ride back to the bus station. We had a fantastic and very special experience and would come back any time if we could. It was worth every cent.

There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.
