Great recommendation with consideration for the guests. We used the Hualien Haoxing tour from the Hualien city. It was hot outside. But the people are all so nice to the tourists. They keep the environment very clean.

It is a 6-minute walk from Hualien Tianhui Temple, while Meilun Mountain Park is 1.2 km from the property. We arrived 2,5 hours later than expected around midnight. Although the host left the hostel at 9pm already, he opened the door for us and told us what we needed to know. Thanks for this exceptional flexibility. The location is very good, in the center of Hualien close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable, the room was well cleaned, the common area was a nice place to chill. the next morning we left early to Taroko National Park. We were able to check out early without any problems. We had a great stay and the best sleep in a long time!

Bayhouse Comfortel Hualien Hostel is located a 8-minute walk from Hualien Train Station and Hualien Transportation Bus Station. Chihsingtan is 10 minutes' drive away while Cingshuei Cliff is 30 minutes' car journey away. Nice, clean hostel with very friendly staff. I’d love to stay here again if I visit Taiwan.

We had a really good experience at the Kindness hotel. Staring from the front desk that was always sufficiently staffed and competent. Our rooms were clean (!), spacious and everything worked properly (temperature control, Japan style toilets etc). Breakfast was sufficient (some suggestions for improvement in the other section). Additionally, there were two coffee machines available in the lobby at all times and an ice cream and snack bar open most of the time And they served dinner every night. I would absolutely stay in this place again, very good value for money. The location is close to the train station which was convenient on our arrival and departure. Otherwise the neighborhood is not especially nice. But we got around (to hikes) with a driver and explored the town on foot.

The property is around 17 km from Liyu Lake, 36 km from Taroko National Park and 1.6 km from Hualien Tianhui Temple. The hostel has family rooms. The hostel furniture was brand new. Big bathrooms with large and modern showers. There was also a big washing machine where you could wash your clothes for just 40NTD (laundry soap included). The staff was extremely nice; even though English was not their strength, they were always available to help us and meet our needs. They offered us free snacks throughout the stay, which was very much appreciated. The location is ok, you have everything you need just a few minutes of walk away.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 40 km from Taroko National Park. The homestay features family rooms. I chose the room with a view- so great. I would choose this room again. The bathroom was clean. The whole room was spacious and had a fridge. The building had a hot water machine and coffee tea packets. I rented a scooter to get to the location.
