This was our third or fourth trip here to Single Island Shores! We love the cabins, the quietness and just being here and unplugging for a few days. We even got permission to bring our 9 month old puppy. We felt rested and well just good when we left. Thank you Ashley Thank you to the work crew too.

We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

Inn at Taughannock Falls is located in Trumansburg New York, 14 km from Ithaca and 16.4 km from Cornell University. It is surrounded by Taughannock Falls State Park, which hosts the tallest waterfall, east of the Rockies. Guests can access the park from a trail located on the hotel's property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. We have had a wonderful experience at the Inn at Taugennock. We highly recommend this place for multiple reasons. Not only are the facilities wonderfull including a delicious breakfast, the surroundings are gorgeous as well. Above all, the friendly staff has made our stay unforgettable.
