Located in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Cooinda Lodge Kakadu offers air-conditioned rooms. Guests enjoy access to outdoor swimming pools and a restaurant. The tent was gorgeous and comfortable, amenities incl. BBQ areas and 2 pools, the lodge has a small supermarket, a gas station and a restaurant and is the starting point for yellow river excursions. It is the perfect place to explore Kakadu from.

From the marble foyer to its uniquely shaped exterior, Mercure Kakadu Crocodile is a retreat in the wilderness of Kakadu National Park. This is an amazing hotel. It’s form is really well fitting the environment it is also very discreetly nested withi n the park. The swimming pool was great, shadowed, so we could use it during the lunch break time in the middle of the day. It is opened until 22 hrs! . Hotel is located very well, close to all important visiting sites. Breakfast generous and very tasty. We booked evening meal. Unfettered very nice even if fairly standard. Menu list was elaborated and we could get delicious and very nicely prepared meal there as well.. beds very comfortable. In the morning kakadu make such noise that one is woken up for 30 minutes at 5 am. We liked it!

Nestled amongst tropical landscaped gardens, in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Aurora Kakadu Lodge boasts a lagoon style swimming pool and an onsite bar and restaurant. We stayed for a few days in one of the new self-contained cabins (studio/queen cabin with garden view). The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything we needed – comfortable bed, kitchenette, bathroom, air conditioning, and a small terrace. Check-in was smooth, and the lovely receptionist made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent for exploring Kakadu National Park. We didn’t have the chance to use the pool as our schedule was packed, but overall our stay was truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!
