The accommodation is not what we expected.
The accommodation is not what we expected. It needed work, cleaning and was very noisy with the trucks along the highway using their brakes.
The shower curtain was moldy, shampoo, condition & soap dispenser had fallen off wall and left on ground. Freezer was dirty, glasses needed to washed & wiped of grime before using. Air-condition in room did not work. Images of room didn't match what the room looked like it was older with dodgy renovation patches.
We got room service from the restaurant that incurred a & $10 fee. The meal of simple chicken burgers was inedible due to the excessive amount of sauce which even after wipe off with serviettes could not be eaten.
On check out we took the meals & advised management. They apologized and said would follow up. No follow up .. disappointing.
Do not stay or eat at this motel.

This trip was a working weekend trip.
This trip was a working weekend trip. It was lovely to come back to Cedarvale after a hectic day. The peace n quiet is just what you need to decompress. Sadly the weather was atrocious, wet n windy n freezing. But, the location and view was still stunning. Definitely going back and will book a longer stay next time to really check out the township and surrounding Coffs Harbour Coast. You won't be disappointed.

We were only there for one night and found the room to be clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the dinning room and found the staff to be friendly and helpful and we both enjoyed our meal.
Although we did not have a problem the stairs leading to our room might be a bit hard for those who have walking/climbing issues.

Very clean, modern and spacious. Privacy was good though would have appreciated a friendly welcome by hosts. We had our dogs with us and felt we must have been breaking the rules by bringing them due to the stern looks we received from a distance along with the question..."you have dogs?" We just didn't know if they were welcome. Guidelines (if there are any) for pets could be stated on advertising, that would have made us more relaxed. Otherwise I highly recommend the standard of this retreat for a great country get away.

The Castle was our half way stop on a drive back from Noosa to Sydney. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay after a long drive (and the busyness of Noosa at Christmas). The hosts, Donald and Shan were warm, welcoming and great company at afternoon tea (which was awaiting us on arrival) and breakfast. Delicious food, a very clean and much loved home, quality bedding and linen. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed dinner in nearby Sawtell (15 - 20 minutes away by car). Highly recommended!

we went to do a few jobs and to catch up with family and friends, so the Bentleigh was central to all and walking distance to shops pubs and club. Had breakfast at the Yacht Club which is great with ocean views all around and walked out on the jatty

We loved the surrounding leafy area, an amazing backyard we didn’t have time to use properly. Our little dog enjoyed the space to run and have fun. Everything we needed was in great condition with plenty of extras in kitchen.
No hesitation in recommending this beautiful accommodation! Loved it!

We had never stayed at Sawtell before, but as we were traveling north for a wedding we decided to break the trip up, we all thought what a beautiful town Sawtell was, plenty of food places all in walking distance in the Main Street on both sides of the street & we couldn’t believe everything was opened & it was a Tuesday cafes, bars & restaurants there was happy hours on from 4pm -6pm at quite a few bars/restaurants so we just had one or two & went to the next it was a great arvo.
The pub is where we stayed the night the rooms were really clean & comfy.
The staff at the Pub are just so nice & friendly & food was delicious too
We had breakfast at the surf club before heading off & once again Sawtell delivered it was such a great menu & the food & service was fantastic

Pretty & semi-rural place, elevated with sunny morning views down towards the ocean. Convenient for folks travelling up the east coast; far enough from the busy parts of town but only a few minutes drive away.

Very plesent farm stay.
Very plesent farm stay. The drive down to the house each night was exceptional. Running freshwater stream was a highlight too. We spent the days in and about Coffs Harbour. Easy enough to get to but far enough way to have a secluded and private stay. Plenty of room for the kids to play, video games connected to the TV without too many issues and a nice big fire on the last night was great with marshmallows.
Luke and Emma helped us out with a few minor issues right away. TV, fridge, washer and dryer, aircon... all worked well. More than enough space for all of us.
We visited Dangar Falls - awesome swimming spot, the kids actually got behind the waterfall! Lots of awesome food in Coffs Harbour, Mini Pancakes on the Beach - wonderful, fish and chips - excellent, Italian, Chinese... never short of something delicious to eat and The Big Banana Park was a fun way to end our last day. It was a great trip!
