It was very close to the airport. Exactly what we expected for a budget price. We only stayed a few hours as we had an early flight the next morning.

Optionally the hotel also provide shuttle. I took the shuttle for my morning flight. Airport has little option for food. But you can access Mc D by passing parking building in front of the hotel. Nice hotel, good view to the tarmac and runway.

Just a 7 minutes’ drive from Melbourne International Airport, Ciloms Lodge features free WiFi access and indoor swimming pool. A free airport shuttle is available at any time of the day. Cilom airport lodge have improved thier facility greatly, with now more professional staff, amazing new rugs and blankets, very neat rooms. This time around the facility was good. They run round the clock trip to airport, though had no means of contacting them on arrival, it did not take me 5min before spotting one of the buses.
