Really close to witches market!
Rooms were clean, buffet breakfast was good and staff were lovely.
Showers were cold/luke warm (normal for Bolivia)
There were lots of shops and restaurants nearby along with an abundance of tour agencies.
Staff were amazing, spoke perfect English and let us leave our bags there both before and after our stay.
They even helped us get a taxi when leaving

I recommend to visit cable cars, the city is safe. Prices are cheap, people friendly. La Paz itself is max 2 days, then you have seen everything in the city.
The only thing that I did not like is the traffic.

We felt safe to walk during the day and night.
We felt safe to walk during the day and night. Food, clothing and haircuts are cheap. Most people are helpful and very friendly. La Paz has a few world records: highest capital city (so ensure you have Diamox to reduce altitude sickness symptoms) and the largest cable car network in the world (well worth the 12 BOB for 2 hours use as we covered 6 different routes.

We didnt have long in La Paz.
We didnt have long in La Paz. We went on a walking tour on the first day, but didn't particularly enjoy it. I think we started too early and a lot of things were not fully open. The cable cars were great though. We enjoyed these more, and it gave us amazing views of the city. We really loved the Valley of the Moon also. We went to the women wrestling show, which was lots of fun. The death road cycle was a challenge, but it was an amazing trip.
