I arrived at 5AM from bus, and they let me sleep on the hammocks for free until check-in. They were very helpful (and spoke English) with planning things to do around the area and helped me find a nice affordable motorcycle to explore the city (highly recommend if you're only here a short time). They also helped me find VERY affordable jungle tours, as the prices vary SIGNIFICANTLY in town. The common area is really nice and spacious with lots of little areas. WIFI connection is strong. Property is very secure. Location is pretty prime.

La Isla de los Tucanes has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Rurrenabaque. The host, José, was friendly and helpful throughout my short stay. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, perfect after the quiet of the Amazon. The hot shower and breakfast was also really good. I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere comfortable after "roughing" it in the jungle or Pampas!
