The room was clean and comfortable, though not soundproof, so you can hear people on the stairs. The shower was a bit weak, but fine for a short stay. Service was excellent— the owner was very accommodating, offering a generous breakfast (50 bolivianos for 2) before our Solar trip. She even contacted the tour agency and provided a hat, which was helpful. They also sell essentials and souvenirs at fair prices. The couple running the place is wonderful, and we’d definitely stay again in Uyuni.

The señor at the reception was extremely polite and helpful. He gave me money to pay my taxi ( later of course I paid him back) and he was kind enough to call a travel agency and find for me a very good and cheap daily excursion to Salar de Uyuni. The next day he knocked my door and he brought breakfast at my room. Incredible ! I highly recommend this place !

Hotel Rey David was an easy walk to the center of Uyuni. Lovely room with big private bathroom. Quiet, even with windows facing the street. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Room was heated at night. Very helpful front desk staff. My compliments to the breakfast chef. Best sunny-side-up eggs I think I've ever had. She has a bright and welcoming personality to match.
