Later we had the pleasure of meeting Sherlett, the owner. Sherlett was communicative, welcoming, and helpful. It was so nice to have a whole apartment with a kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a TV with multiple platforms - cuz we needed to Netflix and chill for a night after lots of traveling!

I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.

Wonderful stay at sun creek - we wanted something simple in the jungle and this place was better than expected. The whole garden was beautiful and the rooms great. Loved the outside bathroom! We were there in august and worried a little about the heat as there is no AC but with the standing fan it was just fine. I'd seen reviews talking about dog and traffic noise, but we weren't disturbed by anything and slept well. It's a hut in the jungle so yes there were some bugs but that's normal. We fell asleep watching a gecko scuttle across the ceiling eating mosquitos and moths, comfy under the mosquito net. The couple who run the hotel are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Would come back if we're ever in the area again!

Livingston Resort Hotel tem um jardim, área de praia privada, um terraço e restaurante em Lívingston. We had a fantastic stay at Livingston Resort Hotel. We arrived by lancha, which was super nice. We were welcomed by Noemi, who is a super nice and helpful host. She is great! She helped us with everything: tours and activities for the day, looking for shuttle services, even booking a hotel in Quiriguá for the next day (which seemed almost impossible). Also the other staff members are so nice! The hotel has perfect location, along the seaside, with a great swimming pool too. Our room had a view on the beach, which was great. The rooms are nice and clean, with AC. There is also good restaurant, which is open all day, with view on the beach. I certainly recommend Livingston Resort Hotel!
