I wasn't sure what I was getting for the affordable price. I opted for the bunk bedroom that I fortunately didn't need to share with anyone. I had access to everything from the washing machine to the kitchen and bathroom. I was only sharing with one other person who's residing in a spare room here. The host was a gem with goals of turning this into a wellness retreat. Had an amazing massage/healing treatment for an extra charge but it was so worth it. I think I'm one of the first visitors to her home and I can't recommend it enough. This isn't a hotel so if that's what you're looking for this isn't for you. It's a shared living arrangement in a large basement suite. Hostel style living. 4 minute drive to downtown comox, 4 minutes to tim hortons and McDonald's if that's your thing. Also only a 10 min drive to most beaches.

The whole one night stay from reservation to check out was unforgettable. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and convenient, the staff looked after us well as did the restauran.

Offering views of the Strait of Georgia and the mountains, this hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool and daily continental breakfast. Courtenay is 7 minutes' drive away. Lovely staff, very clean and comfortable room and bathroom, breakfast included. Great value at a just few minute ride from the airport. Nice restaurants just aside. Pets are welcome!
