The Yerevan-European Style Open Concept Oasis was cozy, clean and had everything I needed to make my stay a pleasurable one. I required a kitchenette and I was easily able to cook all my meals. My cooking needs made this hotel an excellent value. Also, the bed and sitting area were very comfortable.

Smith falls was great.... middle town to launch trips to...
Smith falls was great.... middle town to launch trips to Perth/ Almonte/ Merrickville and Brockville. Many great restaurants and a haven of great chip stands...staples as well (Tim horton / Harvey/ Swiss Chalet ) local Walmart and Giant tiger. Pretty town with old history and the river locks are very interesting - workers there are happy to give you the workings of the locks. Enjoy

I didn't actually go into the village of Merrickville this...
I didn't actually go into the village of Merrickville this stay but I highly recommend travellers visit this lovely village right on the Rideau Canal . Very cute shops for tourists with lovely souvenirs and some wonderful dining establishments .

We requested to book out at 1:00 pm so that we could change after the funeral. Initially we were told yes but the next day the decided we needed to pay for an extra day since we were late departing even though we had confirmed prior to taking the room the we could have a delayed departure.

All of my maternal Great Grandparents were born in...
All of my maternal Great Grandparents were born in Merrickville. The farm my 2nd Great Grandfather bought is still in the family, so have many cousins in Merrickville.
I love visiting and I could truly live here! Beautiful little town.

We love Smith Falls beautiful community with old and new Architecture. The water ways are so beautiful with the locks. We just love the scenery and The Railroad Museum. Just a beautiful are in which to enjoy nature. Can't forget the Swans there in summer.

The village is very historical and quaint on the Rideau River. Excellent shopping at boutique shops. Food was excellent at Goose and Gridiron and Mainstreet Eatery. There are several coffee shops and antique shops.
