Arrived during a massive storm- power off through whole of North Island. Staff anticipated issues and mitigated. Water remained hot and we hunkered down and went through the week fine.

Robert & Anne were wonderful, kind hosts. Full of recommendations for the area. We hope to visit again next time we are in Port Hardy.

The lodge was amazing, it came fully stocked with everything you may need during your stay. The tide came in right up under the deck giving you the feeling of being on a boat and the view was amazing with a gorgeous sunsets.

The lady who booked us in was pleasant and kind. We appreciated her waiting to book us in. We left before the breakfast so we could catch the Port Hardy ferry.
The sheets were linen I think and I felt like royalty!!
