Clean place and spacious, very quiet. The staff there are really nice and they are very helpful. They go out of their way to ensure that you are having a great stay. Helped me with arranging transportation, made sure I paid a local price and recommended places for dinner and trips which were great deals and prices.

Really comfortable lodge at a stunning location: very lush and green gardens and beautiful view over lake Kivu, with the opportunity to swim. Our room was very comfi and had a great view of the lake. Great communicatuon with the reception, host made sure to call us in advance when we were going to arrive in the evening so that dinner could be prepared for us.

    beautiful city on Lake Kivu. Should stay at Goma Serena Hotel for nicest views and excellent service. A little pricey, but worth spending. Hotels in most countries in Africa are ridiculously expensive. Don't understand why, but irritating. perhaps only a select few make great profit!

    Gisenyi is a nice small city, not so small for the Rwandans...

    Gisenyi is a nice small city, not so small for the Rwandans themselves, as it is ranked the 2nd largest after Kigali. its quite and green for all year round. sitting on the shores of lake Kivu, being overlooked by the Nyiragongo, its beauty is unique.
