Situated in Staad directly at Lake Constance with its own small marina, Hotel Bodenseehotel Weisses Rössli is 200 metres from the public swimming pool and a 15-minute drive from St. Gallen. The view to the lake, an early morning swim in the lake, the terrace and the friendliness (also to our kids) of part of the personnel. The hotel is located next to a bar where a dj was playing music until 10:30 pm (nice music!)

Railway Station is a stones throw away. Communication with host is easy and timely. Rooms are clean, tidy, well furnished with essentials. Comfortable seating arrangements. Plenty of space for the family. Use of a.balcony was nice. The TV has a great service allowing international channels to be viewed. Other shops are a short walk away. If you're going to be out late then the surrounding area feels safe. The fridge is a very good size. Two toilets in the flat is helpful too. So was a lift when carrying luggage. There were child travel cots and a high chair in the flat as well as towels and spare bedding. The neighbours that we met were very helpful too Very good, we were in Switzerland for the Women's Euros. I would happily return to the area to explore more without the football and would look to stay here again.

Dating from the year 1928, the historic Turquoise Bath of the Schloss Wartegg invites you to take a relaxing bath in style. This place is, above all, full of history. The last emperor of Austria-Hungary, Blessed Charles Habsburg, stayed there with his wife, Servant of God Zita, and their family; the history of the castle is also related to, among others, the French Revolution. There is an old, very interesting chapel next to it. The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

Surrounded by a large garden with a terrace and a historic chapel, Schloss Wartensee in Rorschacherberg offers panoramic views over Lake Constance. Beautiful property and fantastic location with an incredible view!
