What a spectacular property. A bird watchers paradise. The cabins are rustic but clean no ac. The highlight are the personable and skilled naturalists who lead the tours. We enjoyed a mangrove tour, bird watching walks and a forest night walk all excellent. Being adjacent to a national park there is also abundant wildlife. The pool and lounge areas are lovely.

Fish Hook Marina Hotel features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Golfito. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. This is a great place to stay. The room we rented was huge and had a nice view of the bay. The food at the restaurant is pretty good and we enjoyed the free breakfast. After we finished dinner, we were treated to manta-ray swimming by as we looked on from the balcony. It doesn't have the feel of a typical hotel, however, so US tourists might be a little apprehensive about staying here.
