Host went out of her way to check us in at 2 am due to flight delays. Property was very beautiful. We could park our car securely. The breakfast was freshly cooked and served by wonderful helper with smiles all the time. Balcony was huge.

Offering an outdoor pool and a la carte restaurant, Colours Oasis Resort ADULT ONLY is located in San José, in a gay-friendly environment. Rooms here will provide you with a wardrobe and a cable TV. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. It’s no longer exclusively gay, but I don’t think that really matters much as long as it’s welcoming to gay people. The rooms are very nice, the staff is excellent, local people show up at least on the weekend to use the bar, And it’s close to a number of restaurants. (I highly recommend Yurgos Peruvian restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. Superb food). If you want to go into downtown San Jose, it’s about a five dollar cab ride.

Pura vida (pure life) is the Costa Rican motto for embracing all the magic life has to offer. Perfect. Everything. Service, breakfast all great!
