Very nice room and cosy - this place is actually like a big house. The room was super clean and spacious at a quiet (and safe) neighbourhood. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was great. Offering an outdoor pool and a la carte restaurant, Colours Oasis Resort ADULT ONLY is located in San José, in a gay-friendly environment. Rooms here will provide you with a wardrobe and a cable TV. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. It’s no longer exclusively gay, but I don’t think that really matters much as long as it’s welcoming to gay people. The rooms are very nice, the staff is excellent, local people show up at least on the weekend to use the bar, And it’s close to a number of restaurants. (I highly recommend Yurgos Peruvian restaurants about a 15 minute walk away. Superb food). If you want to go into downtown San Jose, it’s about a five dollar cab ride.

Pura vida (pure life) is the Costa Rican motto for embracing all the magic life has to offer. The attention to detail, cleanliness of all the spaces. were exceptional The staff were very welcoming at every moment. I would highly recommend this place.
