The accommodation is well located, just two steps from the airport, less than a 7-minute walk away. Nearby restaurants and supermarkets. Buses and taxis run regularly front of, and it's not too far from the city center and main attractions in São Filipe. The host owner Mr Tony is incredibly attentive, goes above and beyong to ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied. He was incredibly kind and supportive throughout my stay. He efficiently organized all my meals and my transportation around my touristic trips in Fogo Island even to leave very early at dawn to Pico de Fogo in Chã das Caldeiras. The host offered delicious breakfasts every morning, and great advice and companionship during beautiful walks to explore the island. My stay was smooth, warm, and unforgettable. I will definitely come back for other stays. A heartfelt thank for his support and availability! Highly recommended!

It has the best location: 15-20 mins walking from the airport (you won't need a taxi if you doesn't have much baggage), 10 mins to the beach and 2-3 mins to grocery shops or restaurants Also the Aluger station you will find next to the Municipal Market which is 5 mins walking from the hotel. As for the hotel, of course it seems a lil bit tired inside, but everything works: you will have a super comfy bed, aircon, free wifi with good signal and even a fridge. On the upper floor there is a dining room where you can get glasses, plates or corkscrew if you need. Also there are some rooms with nice open balcony so you can get some take away food and chill here. Also you can ask for a laundry service, which is great foe those who travel with a backpack like me As for the brekfast, which is included: nice local coffee, super fresh bread, ham and cheese, butter and even peanut butter, hard boiled eggs and fresh local fruits. The best way to start your day. And you will be lucky if the owner will be there , once he brought fresh goat cheese and papaya from the market, it was so nice that you will never get anything better even at 5 stars hotel, I mean it. As for the owner: Ulysse has perfect English which is a lil bit exotic for Cabo Verde!

We were welcomed by Kaïda and her son, they are very kind people with who we always had fun. Beside, she has been helpfull for everything (places to eat or going out / hikings / taxi) The room is clean and everything look like the pics on the website. The hotel is located 5min from the city center and offer a great view on the ocean with the beach just underneath ! Thank you for everything and hope we will come back!

right in the centre of town the location is wonderfull. the old architecture with high ceilings is very nice, and great ocean views across to Brava. best of all are the excellent staff, who, in our case of an emergency went out of their way to help us - really left a lasting feeling of warmth with us
