Nice small hotel in a quiet area but close to the centre for restaurants and bars .they let me put my motorbike in there garage which was nice and I had 3 lovely breakfasts free thanks to booking .com ..if in the area would stay again all the staff were all for the clients well being ..

It is a beautiful cozy hotel with a perfect location. I needed it for one night and they also accepted dogs - which is what I needed. I loved it and so did my dog Chloe. The staff is absolutely amazing and the breakfast was tasty. Overall very good value for money.

A small university town, with few sights to see. The downtown or main street had cool stores and a mini flea market going on. Food options were limited, not much for vegans as far as I could see. Taxis are plenty, but they have to be called on a local number. And they require YOU to provide a baby car seat, which is difficult if you are travelling for just 2-3 days. Other wise relaxing and nice place to visit. Public transport is very well organised and many areas are within walking distance.

This area is a good route from Dresden and Leipzig to the Czech Republic or, southward, to Nuernberg and Muenich. It was just over the former wall dividing Bavaria from the DDR and Saxony. There is a long history of the German Volk, but many of the buildings are only a few centuries old, the area having been razed during the Thirty year war, the Napoleonic wars, and WW II. Nearby Hof has an extensive series of tour plaques recoding this history. Only occasional billboards refer to the recent past (Mauerzeit). The countryside is lovely.
