This family-friendly hotel in the Marchwald Forest is 5 minutes from the A5 motorway and a 10-minute drive from Freiburg city centre. This was my second time staying here due to my surgery at the Gelenk Klinik nearby and it's a very nice and affordable hotel. It's close to Gundelfingen and pretty close to the center of town. The breakfast is very nice, the bed was super comfy and I had a nice view of the sunset from my room. The staff are friendly and helped me get a taxi to the hospital when I was leaving. I would book again because the price is so good.

Although not located at the Old Town or train station, it has nice food and park nearby and public transit is easily accessible to Old Town. Grocery stores are within 20 min walking distance.

The apartment was spotless and well-equipped – there were plenty of towels for everyone, coffee capsules, and everything we needed. The hosts were extremely kind and always available!:)

The place was warm, very clean, with a decently stocked kitchen, and well connected to the city center with just one tram line. The internet worked well, which was a big plus. The only inconvenient part was having to walk through a section of forest to get to the station, though it was well lit and safe. The host wasn’t the most responsive, but overall it was a good stay.

Everything was perfect, nice room, comfortable big beds, clean, quiet, coffee boiler, coffee and tea, fantastic bathroom, excellent breakfast many variation of food.
