Everything was amazing, the house looks better in reality, it is super clean and comfortable, you have everything you need. On top of this, the garden is huge and amazing for a relaxing day outside, in the sun. I don’t have words to describe the hosts, they were so nice and attentive to our needs, they left some food and snacks for us, water and coffee, and even helped us with the transportation to the airport. Thank you! We will definitely book again when we will come back to Santiago for another Camino.

Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 10 km from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

Located 10 km from Santiago de Compostela, this hotel is situated along the famous pilgrimage route and there is a playground for the kids in the hotels garden. Excellent to and from airport transfers. 24hr reception. Buffet breakfast was well thought out, well priced and with lots of variety. Rainfall shower head was lovely. Clean room. Friendly staff. All good.

Jessica who checked us in and waited on us for dinner was the absolute best. My bag which I had transported did not arrive. I attempted several times by both phone and messages to contact the transport driver. He declined my calls. Jessica helped by calling the company-spent over 30 minutes on the phone to locate my bag. I believe if she had not taken the effort I would not have been reunited with my bag. Big Thanks Jessica. You are the best
