Our four night stay with Sam and Sarah was the major highlight of our visit to Fiji. They welcomed us into their family with real warmth and fed us extremely well both at breakfast and dinner in the evening. Sarah even insisted upon providing us with a packed lunch. They could not have been more helpful, even putting our clothes through their washing machine and hanging them up for us to dry. We and our fellow guests immediately felt completely at home. Sam is a retired schoolmaster and currently a taxi driver, while Sarah works at a local Resort. Sam was always cheerful and cracking jokes and, after taking us us to visit the highlight spots of Taveuni, would wait patiently to bring us back home again. He also met us off the ferry from Natuvu and took us to the small adjacent airport upon departure. One day their daughter had left her lunch box behind, so we had the pleasure of touring her school, a very happy place. We were very sad to leave and would love to return on a future occasion. We would thoroughly recommend AerowView Home Retreat to anyone who plans to visit Fiji.

Home is close to the airport and a bus stop. Sarah and Sam have really good tips on how to visit the island and will adapt to your way of traveling:) The food is absolutely great, and I garanty, you won't leave the table hungry ;) The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need, even a newly added AC ! Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.
