Everything. The big beautiful old house so lovingly restored. Everything worked and we still had feeling of old grandeur with wonderful surprises in the decor. Very spacious and so comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and great value for money. The outside pool area had everything a family could want. Decent sized pool sunbed, table tennis and bowls. Also pool toys for my little grandchildren and games in the house. Best of all was the BBQ. Such fun we had cooking and eating on the patio in the evenings. A home from home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Huge thank you to Sabrina & Ben. They were genuinely the nicest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever met.

Natalie was the perfect hostess and we felt so comfortable and welcome. The house was roomy and well equipped with air con and a pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and were grateful for Natalie's advice about transport and life in Carcassonne.

Exclusively calm, nice and peaceful location. The premises are wide, clean and everything provided as proposed. A very charming little gift as free coffee & tea. Also an advantage is the possibility to park there, in a free way. Easy to get to the castle. Also, you can arrive anytime which is very convenient, avoiding to disturb the hosts. Thank you!

    We stayed in a hotel within the walls and that was lovely (Auberge des Lices) and we visited the old town as well as the city. So much to see and do! This was our second visit and we were not disappointed (other than the note below). A slight caveat as one of party was disabled is that the walled City is not particularly disabled friendly. Those who stay in the other lovely hotels are afforded luggage transfer but those less fortunate with mobilty have to struggle waith bags and have to be able to walk quite a few hundred metres to get to a gate other than the main entrance which is the nearest to the Cite car parks. A golf cart type facility would I am sure assist even if there was a charge... Just saying :-)

    Small city easy to find your way around. Bus to the airport is not very frequent and info about same is non existent, taxis are also very hard to aquire and there doesn't seem to be too many available.

    Carcassonne is a beautiful little town and well worth a visit. all the sites can be visited in a couple of days and the train station gives good access to local places such as Narbonne (just half an hour away).
